Dongcheng is a Chinese professional tool manufacturer built around value for trade users. The proposition is straightforward: specifications close to the premium Japanese and German brands at a lower price, with the strongest part of the range in concrete work, demolition and surface finishing. For a contractor buying several of the same tool for a crew, or kitting out a site where tools take hard use and occasionally go missing, the cost difference is the whole argument.

The 20V Max Cordless Platform

Most of the Dongcheng cordless range runs on one 20V Max battery, which keeps the system simple. There is also a 12V Max line for compact work and some 18V tools.

110V Site Tools

Several Dongcheng tools are stocked in 110V — the impact wrench, electric mixer, marble cutter and two demolition hammers. If your site runs a 110V transformer, these save you hunting for a step-down or risking a 230V tool where site rules do not allow it. They are easy to miss in a catalogue, so ask if you need a model in 110V that is not listed.

Sanding, Polishing and Surface Work

An unusually deep part of the range: random orbital sanders, orbital sanders, disc sanders, straight grinders and a long line of sander polishers from 570W to 1400W.
