Milwaukee FORCE LOGIC: Hydraulic Crimpers, Cutters and Knockout Tools for Singapore Electricians

Most cordless tool ranges stop at drills and saws. Milwaukee's FORCE LOGIC line goes somewhere else entirely: battery-powered hydraulics, built for the work electricians and utility crews used to do with manual pumps or petrol units.

If you crimp lugs, cut armoured cable, or punch holes in panel doors, this is the part of the Milwaukee range worth understanding.

What FORCE LOGIC actually is

FORCE LOGIC tools pair an M18 battery with a hydraulic pump and a sensor package. The tool monitors the pressure through the cycle and stops when the crimp or cut is complete, rather than relying on the operator's judgement.

The practical consequence is consistency. A manual hydraulic crimper gives you a different result depending on who is holding it and how tired they are. A FORCE LOGIC crimper gives the same cycle every time, and it does it one-handed.

Crimping

The M18 HCCT109/42-0C FORCE LOGIC 12T Utility Crimper is the workhorse for utility and distribution work — 12 tons of crimping force from an M18 pack, with a 360-degree rotating head so you can get the die orientation you need in a cramped pit or panel.

For heavier guillotine-style work, the M18 ONEHCCT60-0C 6-Ton Guillotine Crimper carries ONE-KEY, Milwaukee's tool tracking and configuration system — useful if you are managing a fleet of tools across multiple crews rather than one tool in one van.

Cutting cable

Three different jobs, three different tools:

That last one deserves a note: cutting energised or potentially energised underground cable is work with real consequences. The wireless remote exists so the operator is not standing over the cut. It does not replace proper isolation procedure, testing, or your own company's safe working method.

Knockouts

The M18 HKP-0C FORCE LOGIC 6 Ton Knockout Tool punches clean holes through panel and enclosure steel in seconds. Anyone who has done a run of 20 holes with a manual knockout set understands immediately why this tool exists.

It is also the cheapest entry point into FORCE LOGIC by some margin, which makes it a reasonable first purchase if you want to see how the system works before committing to a crimper.

What to think about before buying

Dies and jaws are the real decision. The tool is the platform; the dies determine what you can actually crimp. Work out which die sets your jobs need before you choose a crimper, not after.

These are M18 tools. If you are already on M18 you have the batteries. If not, factor a FORGE 8.0Ah pack and a charger into the cost — hydraulics draw hard, and a small battery will limit how many cycles you get between charges.

They are an investment. These are four-figure tools. The case for them is labour and consistency across a lot of terminations, not occasional use. If you crimp twice a year, hire one.
