MAKITA MAKPAC JOINT PLASTIC CASE (4 SIZES)

The Makpac case is Makita's stackable carry system. Each case locks to the one below it with a quarter-turn connector, so a stack travels as a single unit and comes apart just as fast on site. These are the cases Makita ships its cordless kits in, and buying them separately lets you build the same system around tools you already own.

All four sizes share the same footprint, so they stack in any order. Put the deep case at the bottom and the shallow one on top, or reverse it, and the connectors still line up.

Sizes

• Small — the shallow case. Drill drivers, impact drivers, bit sets and chargers.
• Medium — the common size. Most 18V LXT tools with a battery and charger alongside.
• Large — deeper. Angle grinders, recipro saws, multi-tools, or one tool plus spares and accessories.
• Extra large — the deepest. Rotary hammers, circular saws and bulkier kit.

Worth knowing

Makpac cases are weather-resistant and designed to be carried loaded, with the handle on the top case taking the weight of the stack beneath it. They also sit on Makita's Makpac trolley if you are moving several at once.
