Tungsten-carbide-tipped blades for Makita circular saws and plunge-cut saws, from 185 mm up to 355 mm. Carbide teeth hold an edge far longer than plain steel in hardwood, plywood and board materials, and stay sharp through the glue lines and resin that blunt a standard blade.

Choosing a blade
Tooth count sets the trade-off between speed and finish. A 20 or 24-tooth blade clears waste quickly and is what you want for ripping along the grain or cutting framing timber. A 40-tooth blade is the general-purpose choice and handles most site work. A 50 or 60-tooth blade leaves the cleanest edge, which is worth the slower feed for crosscutting, plywood, laminate and anything that will be seen.
Check the diameter and bore against your saw before ordering. A blade larger than your saw's rated size will not sit correctly under the guard, and the bore has to match the saw's arbor.
