The MH25 Pro concentrates 3,300 lumens into a 705-metre beam at 124,300 candela, so light lands hard on a target seven football pitches away. That candela is what puts usable light on a distant figure or sign, where a pure flood beam would wash out long before it got there.

It carries that reach in a 40mm-head body that still slips into a pocket, so the long look stays as easy to carry as an everyday light.

ONE LIGHT FOR THE CLOSE WORK AND THE FAR LOOK.

High at 1,200 lumens runs 2 hours 30 minutes and still throws 443 metres, which covers a full patrol or a long search on a single charge. Mid at 300 lumens stretches that to 7h 30min for general tasks.

Drop to Low at 50 lumens and it runs 50 hours, or Ultralow at 1 lumen for 650 hours, so the same light handles a vehicle stop, a perimeter scan and days of standby between charges.

A ROUND LED MATCHED TO A ROUND REFLECTOR.

The NiteLab UHi 40 LED has a round light-emitting surface that pairs cleanly with the precision smooth reflector, so more of the output is converted into a tight, bright hotspot. That clean hotspot is what lets you pick out and identify a target at distance quickly.

It is one of the smallest and most efficient long-throw LEDs of its class, which is how a 40mm head reaches 705 metres at all.

The side panel carries two rows of indicator lights. One shows the brightness level you are on, the other shows how much battery you have left, so you know where you stand before a shift rather than guessing in the dark.

Five brightness levels run from a 1-lumen Ultralow up to 3,300-lumen Turbo, with Strobe, SOS and Beacon a press away when you need to signal or disorient.

A TACTICAL TAIL SWITCH AND A SIDE MODE BUTTON.

The tail switch handles on, off and momentary-on, so a half-press throws instant light for a quick check and a full press locks it on. The side button steps through the brightness levels and reaches the special modes, all from one hand.

Tactical Mode and Daily Mode let you set the light up the way you work. Tactical Mode jumps straight to full output for an instant high on a vehicle stop, while Daily Mode steps up gently for close work and everyday carry.

The U-shape tail cap helps guard against accidental activation in a pocket or bag, lets the light tail-stand for hands-free area lighting, and takes the lanyard for an easy carry.

A PROXIMITY SENSOR THAT PROTECTS YOUR KIT.

A built-in optical sensor lowers the output when it detects something close in front of the head, then brings it back up the moment the way is clear. It keeps the MH25 Pro from scorching a pocket, a bag or a sleeve when it is left running against fabric.

Advanced Temperature Regulation works the other side of the same problem, easing high output down as the head warms so the light protects its LED and stays comfortable to hold.

A GRIP THAT HOLDS IN THE WET AND WITH GLOVES ON.

The body is CNC machined from aero-grade aluminium alloy with a cross-diagonal knurling cut 1mm deep, so it stays put in a wet hand or in gloves rather than turning in your grip. That matters when you are working a vehicle stop in the rain or scanning a treeline in the cold.

Sealed to IP68 for 2-metre submersion and rated to a 1-metre drop, it keeps working through rain, dust and the odd knock on duty or on the trail.

RECHARGE STRAIGHT FROM THE BODY OVER USB-C.

The built-in USB-C port takes the 5,300mAh battery from flat to full in about 3 hours 30 minutes, from a wall plug, a laptop or a power bank. There is no separate charger to carry and no cell to pull out for a quick top-up between shifts.

The 21700 cell still unscrews from the tube, so a charged spare drops in for an instant swap when a long search runs past one charge. The same cell that drives the long-throw beam also delivers the long Low and Ultralow runtimes, so a single charge covers a long night of work.
