Some races run red-light-only sections to protect wildlife and other runners. Most headlamps meet that with a 2 to 10 lumen marker glow that barely lights your feet. The UT27 MB delivers a high-output red beam of 150 lumens that throws 70 metres, across three brightness levels plus SOS and slow flashing.

Three white colour temperatures. 6500K cool cuts through distance on fast, open terrain. 4500K neutral suits general running. 3000K warm reads through fog and rain and is gentle on the eyes at camp. High colour rendering, up to CRI 98. A high-CRI beam shows the trail the way daylight does.

A TrueVision+ multi-faceted lens system passes over 94% of the light and blends a wide near-field flood with a focused spot. Turbo pushes 800 lumens out to 168 metres for reading a marker, a ridge line or a far bank. Three working levels sit below turbo, from a 100-lumen low that runs 14.5 hours to a 500-lumen high.
