Aiko is a material handling specialist, and the range is built around how much you lift and how far you move it. A hydraulic hand pallet truck is the workhorse for short moves on a flat floor. A semi-electric stacker adds powered lifting when pallets go onto racking. A self-propelled electric truck takes the walking effort out of long runs across a warehouse. Scale models weigh the load as you lift it, which saves a trip to the weighbridge.
How to Choose
- Capacity – most warehouse work is covered by 2 to 3 tonnes; check the heaviest pallet you actually move.
- Fork length – standard forks suit standard pallets; long forks handle oversized or double loads.
- Wheel material – nylon rolls easily on smooth concrete, polyurethane is quieter and kinder to finished floors.
- Lift height – a pallet truck lifts just off the ground; a stacker lifts to 2.5 or 3 metres for racking.
- Manual, semi-electric or full electric – weigh how many moves a shift against the budget and charging arrangements.
- Weighing scale – useful for despatch and stock control, with or without a printer.
